For many years now so many of us have been worried about the direction of this country and have been a part of conservative groups working to stop the madness that has been destroying the future of our children.

All the while, District 4, one of the most conservative congressional districts in the swamp infested politics of New Jersey has been represented by one of the most liberal congressmen in the House. Yes, Chris Smith. He has voted hundreds of times, spanning decades, with the Democrats contrary to the wishes of his constituents, you and I? He is about to begin his 42nd year in Congress.

The question we need to ask is have we had enough of this stealth liberal representing socialist policies and agenda while pretending to support conservative values? His rhetoric bemoans his actions. Check out how he votes. Just this last year he has voted 42 times with the Democrats and against the majority in his party.

It is understood that most, if not all of you, including myself, have voted for Chris Smith many times in the general elections. I have not voted for him in the primaries for many years now. Even though a vote for him has been no better than a vote for most Democrats, it is essential to keep the number of Republicans up to prevent the Democrats from dominating the House.

No one can deny that Mr. Smith has, at least during campaign seasons, been an advocate for the lives of unborn children. It is possible that that position is one of convenience rather than action. In fact this year he voted in support of abortion activity. Mr. Nick Purpura will file a report describing that action, as well as Smith’s votes against the 2nd Amendment and tax cuts.
